DIRECTION FOR USE
As with all epoxy resin systems, surface preparation is of prime importance. For concrete surfaces, remove all grease, oil, dust, laitence, etc. Ensure substrate to receive the screed is sound, cut back to sound surface wherever necessary.
Remove dust and ensure that all the surface is dry. Prime with Perma Master Prime-CN.
Do not split packs or alter the components in any way. Mix in a suitable mechanical pan type resin mixer. Thoroughly mix both liquid components together prior to the addition of the powder component. Remix until the powder is completely dispersed.
Spread the mixed Perma-HDM on to the primed surface ensuring that the primer must still be fully tacky. Rake or spread out to the thickness required, compact and finish with a steel trowel. Since this is a resin mortar, slow and skilled workmanship is required to achieve a smooth finish. HDM may be applied to a thickness of 20 mm on vertical surface and on ceiling. A touch up or retrovelling before the mortar is set ensures a smooth surface. Should there be a need to build up thickness it can be achieved using primer on the cured surface within 24 hours.
