Perma Marble Tile Adhesive is a cementitious polymer based material in white powder form, which only needs on site addition of water to make a paste which is used for fixing marble slabs, marble tiles to cementitious surfaces vertical as well as horizontal and glass mosaic tiles.


Perma Marble Tile Adhesive (MTA) is especially developed for fixing marble slabs and tiles. Marble is generally loose grained and has a porous structure. Ordinary adhesives and grey cements have a tendency to leach into the marble surface with time and stain the surface. Because of this reason even the best selected marble shows the signs of becoming dull and grey and yellow very soon. Perma Marble Tile Adhesive not only helps in scientific fixing of the marbles, but also helps in maintaining the same luster of marble for years and years. Perma Marble Tile Adhesive makes the tiled area waterproof.


Ensure that the surface to be tiled is clean and free from dust, dirt, grease etc. Mix MTA with clean water in the proportion of 3.5 volumes of powder to 1 volume of water. Mix till a uniform consistency, smooth white paste is obtained. Leave the paste for ten minutes in the pan for the entrapped air if any, to escape and remix the paste. Apply the paste uniformly on to the surface to be tiled as well as on the back of the marble and press the marble in position. While using MTA wetting of the marbles or the surface to be tiled or curing is not required. Fill the tile joints with Uniwhite Perma C-Tone Filler after 24 hours of tile laying.

One kg of Perma Marble Tile Adhesive yields a white paste of 600 cc. If marble tiles are fixed with a uniform bed thickness of 2mm of adhesive then one kg of Perma Marble Tile Adhesive can fix marbles on an area of 3.22 Sft.


All equipment and tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water or Cleaning Solvents as the case may be. Similar procedures should be adopted for break periods exceeding 15 minutes.


Perma Marble Tile Adhesive is available in 10 Kg and 25 Kg multi-wall laminated sacks.


Perma Marble Tile Adhesive has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in Manufacturer’s original packing in a cool and dry place away from moisture and heat.
