Perma Plast-SL is a water reducing, water proofing and general purpose plasticiser for concrete. It is based on refined ligno sulfonates.
To increase workability.
To increase compressive strength.
To affect cement economies.
For hot weather concreting.
To waterproof concrete and plastering mortar.
In areas of congested reinforcement where high workability is beneficial.
In pre-cast concrete manufacturing.
In concrete brick and block manufacturing.
For hot weather concreting.
Improves cohesive property in concrete.
Reduces water demand in concrete.
Perma Plast-SL is a plasticiser which disperses and deflocculates the cement particles within a concrete mix. It can be used to improve workability without the addition of extra water or to allow reductions in free water content of the concrete mix.
Field trials should be conducted to determine the optimum addition rates of Perma Plast-SL. A dosage range of 200 gms to 500 gms is ideal for general purpose concreting. For waterproofing the dosage recommended is 100 gms per 50 kg bag of cement.
DIRECTION FOR USE
Perma Plast-SL should be added to the concrete mix during the mixing cycle at the same time as water. Never add Perma Plast-SL to dry cement.
Typical properties of Perma Plast-SL are as follows:
||Dark brown/black liquid
||1.15 at 25°C
||1% maximum dependent on grading of sand and water content.
||Free from added chlorides
A liquid admixture based upon refined ligno sulfonates.
