DESCRIPTION
Perma Bond Repair (PBR) is an aqueous emulsion of styrene butadiene co-polymer SBR latex, specially formulated for use with cement. PBR modifies the property of cement in mortars and in concrete to make them perform better. Useful for repairing of RCC beams, columns, slabs & other RCC members.

Pot life : 30 minutes when mixed with cement

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

    Method:

  • Apply passivator coat of 1:1 PBR+cement slurry on the cleaned steel reinforcement.
  • On a cleaned and prepared concrete and steel surface after the passivator coat has dried apply PBR bonding slurry.
  • Apply PBR modified mortar by float or trowel. Bonding slurry sets very fast hence modified mortar application should be fast and immediate after application of bonding slurry.
  • Moist cure for 24 hours and then allow it to dry off.
  • Preparation:
    Passivator /Bond coat
    Coat Slurry = Cement 1 +PBR 1
    NOTE: Applied bonding slurry sets very fast. 1 litre PBR with 1 kg of cement gives a slurry which covers 25 – 27 sqft.

Zone II Sand : 3 kg
Perma Bond Repair : 200 ml
Water : 150 ml
Yield : 2.10 Litres

This mortar cover 2.25 sqft area if applied to a thickness of 10 mm.
Note:
1) This MORTAR looks very dry. No further addition of PBR or water to be added.
2) Dosage of PBR can be varied between 5 litre to 15 litre per 50 kg bag of cement depending upon application and severity of problem, 2 litre per 50 kg bag of cement is used in general plaster only as an admixture to produce crack free Plaster.
PACKING
Perma Bond Repair (PBR) is available in 25 Litre, 100 Litre and 200 Litre Packing.
SHELF LIFE
Perma Bond Repair (PBR) has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture if stored in a cool, dry place in original packing.
